In 2024

We are developing our products with Logistics and Supply Chain Multi Tech R&D Centre (“LSCM”) and will start on a ​more advanced project with respect to upgrading the listening quality of HA, deploy the latest class H driver ​technology and User-friendly function keys on Charging Dock .We are collaborating with LSCM in the area of new ​firmware designs on digital hearing aid and charging dock for use of smartphone app

LSCM is one of the divisions of Hong Kong Innovation Technology Commission ( “ITC”) governed under the Hong Kong ​University.

Many people know that basic hearing aids use a microphone, amplifier, and speaker, which work together to boost your ability to hear speech ​while also reducing background noise.

iCombo’s hearing aids is wearable out of the box — no complicated setup, fittings, or electronic “syncing” nonsense — it’s a plug-and-play ​solution to improve hearing, from the comfort and convenience of your own home.

The project outcome will benefit the citizens worldwide who require affordable, quality hearing aid devices. It will also help the medical ​industries of circuit design and biomedical equipment development.

We wish to let everyone with hearing problems have clear and comfortable hearing at a low cost, especially under privileged people.

Technology

We file a patent 1 (Pending) for an acoustic driver power class of H amplifier for severe hearing ​loss. Utilizing the latest class H driver technology, iCombo's hearing aids provide an unlimited ​acoustic range with crystal-clear voice output.

The choice of audio amplifiers in high-end hearing devices is crucial to providing optimal ​performance for individuals with severe hearing loss. Class AB and Class D amplifiers are ​commonly used. Still, they face limitations due to the maximum supply voltage, which can ​bottleneck the linearity and maximum voltage swing required for adequate audio driving in ​such cases.

To address these limitations, iCombo utilizes Class H amplifiers. Class H amplifiers modulate ​the supply voltage to the amplifier's output devices. This modulation ensures that the supply ​voltage is never higher than necessary, reducing dissipation across the output devices and ​enabling the amplifier to maintain an optimized Class AB efficiency regardless of the output ​power level.

Class H amplifiers are known for their efficiency, but they are also more complex compared to ​other amplifier designs. They require additional control circuitry to anticipate and regulate the ​supply voltage effectively, ensuring that the amplifier functions efficiently while delivering the ​audio output necessary for individuals with severe hearing loss.

And patent 2 (Pending) User-friendly function keys on Charging Dock. To enhance the user ​experience, iCombo includes a compact and convenient user control on the charging dock. ​This feature allows users, especially the elderly, to quickly adjust settings through the docking ​station if they are not familiar to use mobile phone apps.

The market does not have any fully functional keys on the hearing aid charging dock. For the ​end users who do not know how to monitor the app on their mobile phones, we developed a ​new control interface command on the Dock with a crystal Screen Display and Buttons for ​friendly usage.

Mr. Yeung earned his degree in Computer Science in North ​Carolina State University USA and did have 45 years’ experience in ​the computer industry and the consumer electronics industry, ​including operating a sizable manufactory, distribution company.

Mr. Yeung’s experience was mostly gained in USA and Hong Kong. ​He has valuable experience in the fields of Administration, ​Marketing & Sales, Procurement, Purchasing, and Contract ​Manufacturing.

Dr. JJ Blue earned his B. Eng and M. Phil Degree in ​Electronic Engineering in The Hong Kong University of ​Science and Technology and Phd Degree in The European ​Institute of Management & Technology (EIMT).

He has more than 25 years’ experience in the field of ​Device characterization , Microwave / RF Circuit Design, ​Low power analog CMOS circuit, microelectronic system ​and Transceiver System and related fields.

Mr. Lam has more than 35 years experience in developing audio ​electronic product.

He is a visionary software & hardware engineer and enthusiastic ​entrepreneur in the area of audio electronics technology.

Mr. Lam earned his Diploma in Kwun Tong Technical Institute.

Mr. Lam also lead our R&D team and he is responsible for ​designing and implementing our projects together with our Chief ​Technical officer (CTO), Dr. JJ Blue.

Management Team

Ms. Jannet Lo has been in the Financial Services Market for over ​40 years. She has been in a leadership position within the field of ​banking and finance which will best utilize her skills and ​experience. She holds a Master’s in Business Administration.

Jannet has been in Marketing since the ‘80. She did marketing ​for Major Banks in the U.S. for over 40 years. Jannet Lo marketed ​the Bank’s Products and Services to the public, successfully ​helping in a Bank Merger in the ‘90. She also led and trained a ​large team across the US and Canada., very active and ​Contributed to Community Service

She is an enthusiastic entrepreneur in the area of marketing and ​training.
